Crypto casinos in Germany

Finding a crypto casino: licence, coins, games and withdrawal compared

In short

A crypto casino is an online casino where deposits and withdrawals run in cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ether or USDT over the blockchain, without a bank and without a card. Five checkable points pick one out: licence and register entry, accepted coins and networks, games, withdrawal rules and the timing of verification. All five can be read in the terms or the register before the first deposit.

Crypto casinos compared

What is compared is what each operator publishes about itself: the licence and the register entry, the list of countries it turns away, the rule on verification, and the cryptocurrencies on its payments page. A disclosed formula turns that into the order. None of the operators listed holds a German permit.

The first position is held by Vave and is paid for. The partnership buys that position and nothing else; it does not buy a score, because Vave is given none. Every place below it comes out of the formula, and none of those is for sale. How the score is worked out.

The highest calculated score in this list belongs to Cloudbet, at 8.5 out of 10 — not the first place, because that one is paid for and is given no score. How the number comes about is set out on the page about the rating method; every field on its own is shown by the operator overview.

42 cryptocurrencies in this list

Every entry comes from the payments page of the operator in question. An operator that publishes no list is not represented here — not because it accepts nothing, but because nobody can look it up.

This page is the starting point of the website on crypto casinos in Germany. It compares 22 operators that settle in cryptocurrency and shows what tells them apart before money leaves your wallet. The basis is deliberately narrow: the operators' own business, payment and verification terms, and the entries in the licence registers they invoke. Bonus banners, promotional videos and customer testimonials are not part of it. The terms were last read on 26 August 2026.

Nobody from this website has played or deposited real money at any of these operators. An assessment here is the reading of documents, and where a document is silent, this page is silent too. For thirteen of the 22 operators the table carries no figure under cryptocurrencies, because no readable list was available. An empty cell does not mean little is accepted there. It means only that it is not documented.

Most comparisons set bonus amounts side by side. This page sorts by five features you can check before choosing a crypto casino: licence, coins, games, withdrawal rules and verification. The overview of all operators is ordered by the same points, as far as a brand publishes them.

The order of the list comes from a disclosed formula. The first position is paid for, marked as such and carries no score; the positions below are not for sale, and none is declared the winner here. What is described is how a clean implementation looks; the matching is left to you. Checking a single crypto casino needs no prior knowledge, only the footer, the terms and a second browser window for the register.

What separates a crypto casino from a classic online casino

The difference lies in the payment route, not the game. A classic online casino takes money by card, bank transfer or a payment service. A bank then sits between player and casino, booking, checking and, in doubt, reversing. With a crypto deposit nobody sits there. You send coins from your own wallet to an address the operator assigns to your account, and the network confirms the transaction.

Three properties follow that you should know before the first deposit. A confirmed transaction cannot be recalled. A reversal through the bank, or a chargeback as with a credit card, does not exist. And the rate moves between deposit and withdrawal unless payment is made in a stablecoin such as USDT or USDC. The stablecoin removes the third point. The first two remain.

That so many operators settle in crypto has to do with banks, not enthusiasm for technology. Card networks and European payment providers list gambling as a merchant category of its own and require proof of a suitable permit for each market; between two wallets nobody checks that. For you the protection the bank otherwise provides falls away, and checking the operator is down to you.

Without a card does not mean anonymous. E-mail address, wallet address, IP address, deposit and play history sit with the operator as at any other casino. The transaction also stands on the blockchain, permanent and public. The fitting word is pseudonymous.

The five points crypto casinos are compared on here

A comparison under the heading of crypto casinos in Germany is worth as much as its criteria. Here there are five. The licence: which body is named, under which number, for which holder, and what the register says. The coins: which cryptocurrencies the operator lists on its own pages. The games: which studios, whether in-house provably fair titles and live tables exist. Then the withdrawal rules and the verification: when documents are demanded.

The order has a reason. A licence statement that does not turn up in the register devalues the other four, because there is then no body from which to demand an assurance. Coins and games determine daily life on the account. Withdrawal and verification determine the moment your money is at stake, and that is where the terms differ most.

How far, the 22 listed operators show for themselves. For 21 a list of blocked countries is recorded, running from one country to 220. Five carry two or fewer, six others 216 or more. A figure for game studios is published by only seven of the 22, between 41 at Bitsler and 120 at Bitcasino.io. An amount threshold for verification is named in figures by exactly two.

The score in the table arises from these fields. How each is weighted, and why a missing document costs points instead of dropping out of the calculation, is explained on the page about the rating method.

The licence line in the footer: Curaçao, Anjouan and what a register entry shows

A crypto casino as a rule names its licence at the foot of the page, in a line with company name, registered office and number. That line is a claim. It is documented only once that number appears in the named body's register and the entry matches holder and domain. Of the 22 listed operators, ten name a Curaçao Gaming Authority number and ten an Anjouan one; Bitdreams names one from the old Antillephone system. For the position marked as paid, no licence statement is recorded.

The Curaçao Gaming Authority keeps a certificate register at cert.cga.cw. Numbers there have the form OGL/YEAR/NNN/NNNN, for example OGL/2024/328/0599. The entry names holder, status and the domains that may run under the licence. All ten Curaçao numbers listed stood in the register with the status Active when it was read on 26 August 2026. Numbers of the form 8048/JAZ come from the superseded Antillephone system and document no current licence; for Bitdreams, the list's only brand with such a number, no status is recorded.

Anjouan numbers have the form ALSI-YEARFIGURE-FI2 or -FI3; the private Anjouan Licensing Services Inc. has run the register since May 2023. The list's ten Anjouan numbers are held there as valid. What that entry is worth is another question. An investigation by the Australian ABC of 31 December 2025 records that the central bank of the Comoros calls these licensing bodies fictitious institutions. An Anjouan number is therefore neither consumer protection nor a complaints body.

Some things are visible only in comparison. PlayAmo, Slotum, Winz.io and Bitkingz name the same number ALSI-202508056-FI2, Mirax and 7Bit Casino the same Curaçao number OGL/2024/1307/0748. One operator then sits behind several brands: moving from one to the next in a dispute means facing the same counterpart. A detailed order of checks for telling reputable crypto casinos from merely well-designed ones has its own page.

Coins and networks: Bitcoin, Ether, stablecoins and the right network

How many coins a crypto casino accepts says less than the figure suggests. For nine of the 22 operators a list from their own pages is available. Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH) are named by all nine. Litecoin (LTC) and Dogecoin (DOGE) stand at seven, Tether (USDT) at six, Solana (SOL) at four and USD Coin (USDC) at three. Tron is carried by four, three as TRX and Cloudbet as TRON. The range runs from two coins at Winz.io to 40 at Cloudbet.

The choice of currency is above all a choice about volatility. Anyone depositing in BTC or ETH carries the exchange-rate risk until the withdrawal is swapped back into euros; a win can shrink, a loss can grow. USDT and USDC are pegged to the US dollar and largely remove this volatility, but not against the euro: the rate between dollar and euro remains. SOL, LTC, DOGE and TRX are often chosen for low network fees and move like any other cryptocurrency.

With stablecoins a second choice comes on top, the network. USDT exists among others as an ERC-20 token on Ethereum, a TRC-20 token on Tron and a BEP-20 token on the BNB Smart Chain. The same coin, but separate networks with their own fees. The deposit page shows which networks the operator accepts for which coin, and your wallet's network must match exactly. A payment over the wrong network is not credited; whether the operator recovers it by hand is its decision alone.

Three smaller fields also decide whether money arrives. With XRP, XLM and TON the deposit page often requires a destination tag, memo or comment as well. Without it the payment lands on a collective address of the operator, unlinked to your account. The network fee is paid by the sender, on a deposit by you. And crediting happens only after a number of network confirmations the operator sets itself.

USDTERC-20Ethereum0x71C7…9A2fbeginnt mit 0xTRC-20TronTQn9Y2…Y7eWbeginnt mit TBEP-20BNB Smart Chain0x3fA8…c21Bbeginnt mit 0x
One coin, three networks. USDT runs on Ethereum (ERC-20), Tron (TRC-20) and the BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20), among others. ERC-20 and BEP-20 addresses both begin with 0x and look alike — what decides is the network the casino's cashier names alongside the address. The addresses are shortened examples.

The deposit step by step

The procedure is similar in every crypto casino. After registering you open the cashier area, usually called Deposit, Wallet or Cashier, choose the cryptocurrency and then the network. The operator then shows a deposit address, often as a QR code, and with some coins its memo. This address is assigned to your account. Take it fresh from the deposit page every time, not from an old address book.

In your wallet you insert the address by copying or QR scan, never typed by hand, and compare first and last characters with what the operator displays. This is not pedantry. Malware exists that swaps copied addresses in the clipboard, and a wrongly addressed payment is lost. Then choose the same network as on the deposit page, enter the amount and read the network fee shown before confirming.

After sending, the transaction gets an identifier, the transaction hash. With it the block explorer of that network shows how many confirmations the payment has. Crediting happens once the number the operator requires is reached. If the credit fails to appear, this hash is the evidence for support; it also stands in the wallet's history.

Two things rarely stand on the deposit page but in the terms: whether a minimum amount exists below which a payment is not credited, and whether the operator keeps the balance in coins or converts it internally into US dollars or euros. Whoever wants a bonus should also check whether it must be activated before the deposit.

Withdrawal: what the terms govern

At a crypto casino the quality shows not on the deposit but on the way back. The withdrawal terms typically govern four things: a minimum amount per withdrawal, maximum amounts per day, week or month, a processing phase in which the withdrawal is held as pending, and whether documents are demanded beforehand. All four values the operator sets itself. This page names none it has not read in the terms, and says nothing about how quickly an operator actually pays.

Verification before withdrawal shows how differently the rules are worded. Bitcasino.io reserves in section 6.6 additional checks for withdrawals over €2,500 or the equivalent in cryptocurrency, Empire.io in section 5.4 for withdrawals over 2,000 USDT. Both add that smaller withdrawals can be checked too. Wild.io announces security checks before the first withdrawal, Stake requires an identity check for withdrawals, and at Mirax a missing document prevents every withdrawal under section 7.

A clause easily read over: Slotum and Bitkingz block an account for incomplete verification if the player is unreachable within two weeks of the withdrawal request. Playbet.io has a similar two-week rule. PlayAmo also names a telephone call or a video check, CoinCasino a selfie and a verification call. Anyone requesting a withdrawal should therefore be reachable by e-mail and phone in the following days.

On withdrawal the address question turns around. Now you enter your wallet's address at the operator, and again network and, where applicable, memo must match: USDT over TRC-20 needs a Tron address, over ERC-20 an Ethereum address. How the withdrawal's network fee is settled stands in the payment terms; with small amounts it can make up a noticeable share.

Verification: what is demanded at registration and what comes later

KYC stands for Know Your Customer: the identity check an operator runs under the anti-money-laundering duties of its licence. With licences from Curaçao or Anjouan it mostly follows the same pattern. At registration an e-mail address and password are enough, documents come later: at the first withdrawal, on a conspicuous playing pattern, or from a threshold the operator sets itself. Bitsler writes this out openly in section 4.3. Registration needs only an e-mail address, documents can be requested at any time.

The trigger is the real information, and it almost never stands as a figure in the terms. Of the 22 listed operators exactly two name an amount threshold, Bitcasino.io and Empire.io, both only for additional checks. Metaspins refers in section 9.7 to a threshold without stating it. 17 of the 18 operators whose verification rule is available reserve the right to demand documents at any time or at their discretion. For Coins.Game, Winz.io and 7Bit Casino no readable rule exists.

One outlier shows why the clause must be read for yourself. Wild Fortune requires under section 18.1 that players paying with Bitcoin present a valid identity document before their first game; until then deposits and stakes are blocked. At Rakebit the terms of use require documents at the first withdrawal, while the FAQ on the home page speaks of withdrawals without documents.

“Without verification” therefore almost never means “never” in practice, but “not at registration”. Nor does it mean anonymous. Anyone looking for a crypto casino without verification should know before depositing which documents they would have to present if it came to it, and whether they can: identity document, proof of address, sometimes a selfie or bank statement. A balance for which you cannot supply the documents demanded is not a withdrawal but an open claim.

Games in the crypto casino: slots, crash, Plinko, dice and live tables

Slots fill the largest part of most catalogues and come mostly from the same studios that supply classic online casinos. The payout key, the RTP, is set by the studio; it stands in the game information, usually behind an i or menu symbol. Some studios ship a game in several RTP variants, and only that information shows which one an operator has set. A general RTP figure is therefore not named here.

Crash games are widespread above all at crypto operators. A multiplier rises from 1.00 until the curve breaks off. Cash out before that and you get the stake times the value reached; too late and you lose it. The break-off point is fixed before the start, from server seed, client seed and nonce; the curve is presentation only. An automatic cash-out removes reaction time but does not change the expected value. Staking systems such as Martingale trade many small wins for a rare, large loss.

Plinko is a falling game. A ball drops through a triangle of pins into one of the slots below, high multipliers outside, low ones in the middle. The landing places follow the binomial distribution: with 16 rows the ball hits the middle slot in around 19.6% of cases and a particular outer slot in one case out of 65,536. Row count and risk level shift the variance only, not the house edge. Anyone after a Plinko casino finds the full calculation on the page for the game.

Dice is plainer still. You choose a target number and whether the roll lands above or below it; win chance and multiplier hang together, and the house edge sits in the gap between the fair and the paid multiplier. Live casino means real tables with a croupier, filmed in a studio, mostly roulette, blackjack, baccarat and game shows. There a ball or card shoe decides, not a seed. Whether an operator carries live tables, and from which studios, stands in its game overview.

Provably fair: what can be recalculated and what cannot

Many crypto casinos advertise provably fair. Meant is a proof procedure: before the round the operator publishes the hash of a secret server seed, usually under SHA-256. You set or are given your own client seed, and with a counting nonce the two produce the result over HMAC-SHA256. After a seed change the operator releases the old server seed. Hashing it must give the hash published beforehand, and repeating the calculation the same result.

Exactly one thing is proved: that this round ran by the rule laid down in advance. About the house edge it says nothing, because a demonstrably fair game may have any payout table, a bad one included. About the operator's solvency it says just as little. Whoever rolls correctly and still does not pay out has a clean protocol and an empty account. Nor does it replace a licence.

The procedure also covers only the rounds that actually run that way. At the same operators, slots from large studios mostly use the studio's own random generator; the proof then applies to in-house games such as crash, Plinko or dice. Wagering requirements, withdrawal limits and verification duties stand in the terms, untouched by any hash. A round is checked through the Fairness or Provably Fair menu: set your own client seed, play, change the seed, recalculate.

Bonuses: wagering requirement, payout cap, time limit and game contribution

A bonus amount on its own is not information. The value sits in the bonus terms of a crypto casino, in three figures: the wagering requirement, how often bonus, or bonus plus deposit, must be turned over; the payout cap, how much is paid out from the bonus at most; and the time limit for both. If one is missing, the offer cannot be assessed. Bonus amounts of individual operators therefore do not stand here.

The turnover required is the amount the requirement refers to, times the factor from the terms. Then the game contribution: slots mostly count in full, table and live games often only at 10% or not at all. At 10%, ten times as much must be staked there as on a fully counting slot for the same progress. Which games are excluded entirely stands in a separate list in the bonus terms.

Two further clauses often decide more than the factor. The first is a maximum stake per round while the bonus is active; whoever exceeds it loses, under many terms, the bonus and the winnings from it. The second is the order of real money and bonus money: whether your own balance is played through first or the bonus. Both stand in the bonus terms, not the banner.

A bonus without a deposit is a balance, or free spins, credited after registration before money has flowed. It almost always leads to verification, at the latest at the withdrawal, because operators guard that way against multiple accounts. “Without a deposit” and “without a check of identity” are two different promises.

Screenshot: the Bitsler home page with a welcome offer of 200% up to $2,000 in the banner.
The banner names the percentage and the maximum amount. The wagering requirement, the payout cap and the time limit are not in it — they are in the bonus terms, and only they say what the offer is worth.Screenshot of bitsler.com, captured on 12 September 2026 from a server in the Netherlands.
Bonusgutgeschrieben10 €Umsatz30-fach300 € EinsätzeAuszahlungDeckelhöchstens 50 €0 €100 €200 €300 €
A worked example, not an operator's offer: a €10 bonus with a 30-times wagering requirement means €300 in stakes before anything becomes withdrawable, and a €50 cap limits what can be left at the end. The time limit decides whether the €300 comes together in time.

How the list comes about and what it does not stand for

A brand gets onto the list only through three filters, and none is taste. Its own terms must not carry Germany among the blocked countries; twelve brands from the data set do and are missing for that reason. A brand with a revoked or withdrawn licence drops out, which affects five more. And whose terms could not be read well enough to calculate a score is missing too, because an entry with nothing checkable behind it would be nothing but marketing.

The overview of all operators shows for every brand what terms and register document, and leaves empty what is not documented. Sorting follows the score from the formula, with one exception: the first position is paid for, marked as such, and gets no score.

On the legal situation only this much: no crypto casino on this list holds a German permit. The licences the operators invoke come from Curaçao or Anjouan, and only the official whitelist of the Gemeinsame Glücksspielbehörde der Länder (GGL) shows whether an offering has a German permit. What it means legally to play at an operator without a German licence has its own page. This home page does not repeat it, and nowhere claims that playing at a listed operator is permitted in Germany.

Warning signs: how a crypto casino gives itself away before the first deposit

Most warning signs stand not in the game but in documents. A licence number absent from the register, a domain missing from the register entry, a holder whose name does not match the footer: each is enough to treat the licence statement as undocumented. Numbers of the form 8048/JAZ belong in the same category while the current register shows no entry for them.

The second group is contradictions. If an operator's FAQ says something other than its terms of use, the small print counts in doubt. If a verification clause is missing, nobody knows in advance when documents will be demanded. And if several brands share a licence number, you choose not between operators but between logos.

The third group concerns behaviour. If support demands a fee or a further deposit before releasing a withdrawal, that is a serious warning sign. If anyone asks for the seed phrase or the private key of your wallet, break off contact; no casino needs either to accept a payment. Countdown bonuses that expire within minutes, and promises of guaranteed wins, belong here as well.

No single sign proves that a crypto casino does not pay, and the absence of all of them does not prove that it does. They shift the probability, no more. Whoever finds several at one operator needs no further check to reach a decision.

Playing responsibly, even when payment is in coins

Crypto changes the feel for money. A stake in fractions of a bitcoin reads as smaller than the same amount in euros, and a balance that moves with the rate is hard to compare with what you paid in. So before the deposit set an amount in euros you can spend for this purpose, and note the euro value of every deposit. What ends up in the casino is an expense, not an investment.

Use the tools the operator provides in the account, such as self-set budget or loss limits and play breaks; whether and in what form they exist stands in its rules on responsible play. Whoever wants to win losses back, stakes more than planned or borrows money for it should stop and talk to somebody. The nationwide telephone counselling for gambling addiction on 0800 1 37 27 00 is free and anonymous, check-dein-spiel.de offers chat and e-mail counselling, and every federal state maintains a Landesfachstelle Glücksspielsucht with local counselling centres.

How to check this yourself

  1. 01

    Copy the licence number

Scroll to the bottom of the crypto casino's home page and copy the licence number and company name, such as OGL/2024/1451/0918 or ALSI-202602030-FI2. Note the domain from the address bar too. You need these three details for the comparison in the register.

  2. 02

Look it up in the register

Enter an OGL number at cert.cga.cw, an ALSI number in the public register at anjouangaming.com. Compare holder, status and registered domains with your notes. If the register finds nothing, the holder differs or the domain is missing, the licence statement is not documented.

  3. 03

    Look at the deposit page

After registering, open the cashier area and choose your cryptocurrency without sending anything. Note the networks offered, such as ERC-20, TRC-20 or BEP-20, any memo or tag required and any minimum amount shown. If the network of your wallet is missing, do not deposit there.

  4. 04

    Find the KYC clause

Open the terms and conditions and search with Ctrl+F for “withdrawal”, “KYC” and “verification”. Note the section number, every amount threshold named and whether documents are demanded before the first withdrawal. If no figure stands there, reckon with a check at any time.

  5. 05

    Work the bonus out

In the bonus terms find the wagering factor, payout cap, time limit, maximum stake and the game contribution of your game. Multiply the amount by the factor and divide by the contribution. If one is missing, or the result does not fit your budget, leave the bonus alone.

Frequently asked questions

+What is a crypto casino?

An online casino that takes deposits and withdrawals in cryptocurrencies such as BTC, ETH or USDT and settles them over the blockchain, not through a bank or card. Games and studios differ little from classic online casinos; added are genres such as crash, Plinko and dice with provably fair proof. The real difference is the payment route: a confirmed transaction cannot be recalled, and checking the operator is down to you.

+Which crypto casino is the best?

This page names none. The list is sorted by a disclosed formula that assesses, among other things, licence, published country list, clarity of the verification rule and number of coins. The first position is paid for and carries no score. Which operator suits you depends on your priorities: which coins and networks you use, which games you want and when you are willing to present documents.

+Which cryptocurrency is suitable for depositing?

That depends on the risk you want to carry. BTC and ETH are named by all nine operators whose coin list is available, but their rate moves between deposit and withdrawal. USDT and USDC are pegged to the US dollar and largely remove this volatility, though not the rate between dollar and euro. What counts is what the deposit page offers.

+What happens if I choose the wrong network?

Then the payment as a rule is not credited. USDT over BEP-20 to an address the operator issued only for ERC-20 does not land where your account expects it. Whether the operator recovers it by hand is its decision alone. So compare the network on both sides before every payment.

+How long does a withdrawal at a crypto casino take?

This page names no duration, because it does not play and has observed no withdrawal. The duration has three parts: the processing phase the operator sets in its terms, a possible verification before the withdrawal, and the network confirmations. The third the network determines, the first two the operator. A promotional promise about speed is not a contractual clause.

+Do I have to verify myself at a crypto casino?

At registration mostly not, later very often. The terms of 17 of the 18 operators whose verification rule is available allow documents to be demanded at any time or at their discretion. Only Bitcasino.io names an amount threshold, €2,500, and Empire.io 2,000 USDT, both for additional checks on withdrawals. Whoever cannot present identity document and proof of address should not deposit at all.

+Does provably fair prove that a casino is reputable?

No. Provably fair proves that a single round ran by the rule laid down in advance. About the house edge, the operator's solvency and its licence it says nothing. Besides, it mostly applies only to in-house games such as crash, Plinko or dice, not to slots from large studios, which run over those studios' own random generator.

+Is a bonus without a deposit worth it?

Only the arithmetic shows that. What counts are the wagering requirement, payout cap and time limit, plus the game contribution of the games you will actually play. A small bonus with a high cap can beat a large one with a low cap. Reckon, too, with verification before the first withdrawal; operators guard that way against multiple accounts.

+Can I recall a crypto deposit?

No. After confirmation in the network a crypto transaction is final. There is no reversal through the bank and no chargeback as with a credit card, and a stablecoin changes nothing. If payment went to a wrong address or over a wrong network, everything depends on whether the recipient sends it back voluntarily.

+Why are no cryptocurrencies given in the table for some operators?

Because for them no list from their own pages is available. That affects thirteen of the 22 operators. An empty cell does not mean few coins are accepted there; it means the statement is not documented. Its deposit page after registration shows which coins and networks an operator actually accepts.

The full list

What is compared is what each operator publishes about itself: the licence and the register entry, the list of countries it turns away, the rule on verification, and the cryptocurrencies on its payments page. A disclosed formula turns that into the order. None of the operators listed holds a German permit.

The first position is held by Vave and is paid for. The partnership buys that position and nothing else; it does not buy a score, because Vave is given none. Every place below it comes out of the formula, and none of those is for sale. How the score is worked out.
