How the scores on this website are arrived at
No score on this website is typed in by hand. Every one comes out of the same formula, every component reads one field from an operator’s own terms or from a licence register, and the arithmetic stands here in full.
The score is a summary of what is evidenced about an operator — not a judgement of how well it plays. This website plays with real money at none of the operators named. An assessment here is the reading of the terms and conditions and of the register the operator cites, and it is called nothing more than that here: no test, no account of experience. The scores stand in the table of crypto casinos on the front page and in the lists on the topic pages. What this desk otherwise rules out is set out under About this website.
The arithmetic runs against a fixed denominator of 10 points. That is the single most important decision in the whole formula. Take into the denominator only the components something is known about, and an operator about whom almost nothing can be read would float upwards on its handful of evidenced points — ignorance would be rewarded. A component an operator does not evidence costs points here.

When there is no score
An operator that evidences fewer than three components, or carries no checkable licence detail, is given no score — not a bad one. An invented score for an operator nobody could read would be the same thing as an invented verification threshold. In that case nothing stands on the website: no dash, no “not yet rated”, because both read as a defect and are only a gap in what we know.
When a brand does not appear at all
If the licence is revoked or deleted in the register, the brand is not listed — however good the remaining components look. Also not listed are operators that carry Germany on their own blocking list. Twelve brands in our library do; they therefore stand nowhere on this website.
The paid place
Vave is our advertising partner. The partnership buys the first place in every list and the disclosure of that payment — it does not buy a score, because Vave is given none. The place runs past this formula rather than through it. The reason is practical: if the published formula and the published order contradict each other, the first reader who does the arithmetic loses trust in the whole table and not merely in one row.
What the score is not
It says nothing about solvency, nothing about payout speed and nothing about whether an operator is permitted in Germany — in this list none of them is. It says how much an operator discloses about itself and how well that can be checked. It claims nothing more. In choosing a crypto casino it is therefore one of five questions, not the only one.
